Hello

There's no dramatic 'reaching rock bottom' story here. I'm a secondary school teacher, turned professional coach and NLP Practitioner, based in Poole. Most importantly, the principles I've discovered through studying and practicing coaching have helped me to work towards a life I feel truly fulfilled in. It has helped me to change my psychology into a 'can do' approach.

From a point at which I used to think that my skills were limited, everyone was more 'qualified' and more 'capable' than me to achieve their goals, I now  recognise all of my strengths and that anything is possible. You just need the right tools, space and mindset to raise your awareness of what you really want, visualise those big goals and break them down into small, achievable steps. I am incredibly passionate about coaching being the most effective way of helping anyone do this and feel privileged to help individuals on their remarkable journeys.

For years, I worked long hours and committed endless amounts of energy to a vocation I was passionate about. I thrived off of supporting young people, being part of their education and transition into adulthood via my role as a Science Teacher, Head of Department and Tutor. I engrossed myself in much of the whole school community by running charitable events, organising extra-curricular opportunities and even leading a charitable school trip to Uganda. It was always clear to me, through my various roles that I was happiest when supporting others.

This specific career was fantastic whilst I was in my 20s as I also made the most of the long holidays, by slinging on my backpack and exploring the world. After marrying my husband and deciding to start a family, I found that juggling the long hours I was used to investing, alongside the guilt of being absent from my two young children was enough for me to re-consider teaching as my long-term career. Over the last 10 years, I have been called back to work with newly qualified teachers and trainee teachers. By doing this, I realised that the element I enjoy the most is the coaching approach to working with others and found that people I worked with were always complementary of my manner and support. This led me to consider a career as a professional coach and I’m happy to say that I haven’t looked back!

I'm confident that the skills I have developed over the years working as a teacher and now as a coach and NLP Practitioner are applicable to supporting individuals with a range of different backgrounds, goals and ambitions . I have found that I have a passion to help others reach their potential and find true happiness in their life – something so many of us are looking for and ALL of us deserve.  So here I am, ready to help you....
